Boarding your dog somewhere new is a big deal — for both of you. Here’s exactly what happens, from your first text to that happy reunion at pickup, so there are no surprises. Seven simple steps, start to finish. 🐾
1️⃣ Text us — and let’s get your dog’s spot locked in 🎉
Text (407) 480-9669 with your dates, your drop-off and pickup times, and your dog’s breed and weight. You’ll hear back in minutes — not hours — with your rate and availability, straight from the team who will actually be caring for your dog.
💲 Here’s the best part: your rate is exactly the hours you use. Drop off at 8am, pick up at 5pm? That’s nine hours — never rounded up to a “full day” because someone needed a tidy number. Short stay, short rate. Long stay, fair rate. Every single time.
Ready to book? We’ll text you a secure payment link — Stripe-powered, and about as easy as it gets. Pay with your credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, or more. A few taps, and your dog’s spot is officially yours. 💛
2️⃣ Send vaccine records — five minutes, and you’re covered ✅
Email them to UniversalDogCareOrlando@gmail.com. Private care needs rabies; group play needs rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. Puppies under 16 weeks? Welcome! Just send whatever vaccines they’ve had so far, along with your vet’s guidance, and we’ll take it from there.
3️⃣ Drop off — any hour, day or night ⏰
We’re open 24/7 by appointment, so you drop off exactly when your plans need you to — red-eye flight, midnight park run, or an ordinary Tuesday morning, we’re here. Bring your dog’s food and any medications; we’ve got the beds and bowls covered, unless your pup sleeps best in their own crate — bring that too, we’ll make room. 🛏️
4️⃣ A quick goodbye, you go have fun, and your dog gets a quick temperament check 🐕
After you drive away… we take a few quiet minutes to see how your dog is feeling — with people first, and, when it’s a good match, with a new Paw Friend. Tootsie Roll is usually the very first Welcome Paws… Nervous pup? We slow down and give extra time. Each dog is tested against every dog in the play group. Dogs who’d rather skip the group and spend the day with our humans instead get private care, available for an upgrade fee — some dogs are just VIPs like that. 👑
5️⃣ Your dog’s day — playtime, rest time, and everything in between
A small playgroup matched by size and energy, leashed yard walks every couple of hours, quiet rest in a climate-controlled room, and meals on your dog’s usual schedule. We weave play-based training into the whole day — building manners and confidence through positive reinforcement, one good decision at a time.
6️⃣ Photos and videos, all day long 📸
You’ll see your dog playing, resting, and being loved — not a security camera pointed at an empty room. It’s the part of the stay our families say they love the most.
7️⃣ Pickup — right on time, tail wagging 🚪
Your pickup is the time in your booking, or whatever new time we’ve agreed on together. On your way? Text us your ETA — even sharing your location works — and we’ll have your dog ready, packed, and waiting right at the front door when you pull in. No waiting around. Just a smooth, happy reunion. 🐾💛
